GTA5 MULTI PLAYER

Rockstar Games have confirmed GTA 5 will include Multiplayer. Other than that confirmation, no further details have been released, however because of their claim that GTA 5 will be their "biggest and most ambitious game yet", we can speculate that the multiplayer will also be improved upon.

What We Can Expect

The regular/generic multiplayer modes will probably make a return, such as;
  • Deathmatch
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Race
  • GTA Race

Online Mini Games

There's also a chance Rockstar learned from fans wishes with Red Dead Redemption and included mini-games like Poker in online play. If this was implemented in GTA IV it would have been the equivellant to playing bowling or pool with someone over the internet. While we don't know which mini games will be included in GTA 5 - although it looks like we may be able to play golf in GTA 5, there's a fair chance we may be able to play some of them online.

Golf In GTA 5
Could we play golf online in GTA 5 Multiplayer?

Possible New Online Modes

The inclusion of planes, and particularly fighter jets could lead to some exciting new online modes. Imagine a dog-fight above Los Santos by a pair of fighter jets? A game mode could include one person trying to stay alive as long as possible while flying away from everyone else in fighter jets. There's also the possibility of jet-ski races on the water.

Jet-Ski Racing?
Jet-Ski Races may play a part of GTA 5 Multiplayer

Co-Op

One feature that Rockstar have never really spent much time on in their games (besides San Andreas' mini-games) is single player co-op. It's possible a number of story missions will require more than one "main" character. Perhaps if you've got 2 controllers, one of your friends can take over the control of the secondary character. Or maybe there'll be missions specifically for online co-op, allowing you to play with a friend over the net. Imagine just cruising down the streets in your singleplayer game with your friend sat next to you as a random pedestrian... The possibilities are endless.

Possible Co-Op On GTA 5
Could the heist be a co-op mission?

Although none of this information has been confirmed or even hinted at, the fact that Rockstar are looking to make GTA V the best game they've ever done means there'll almost certainly be improvements made to the multiplayer and the inclusion of co-op could well be the major new feature which helps them to prove that point.

What would you like to see included within GTA 5's multiplayer?

GTAV: Should Rockstar wait for the next gen console?

Although Rockstar hasn't actually said that Grand Theft Auto V is coming out on the current crop of consoles it's pretty safe to assume it's bound for the PS3, 360 and PC.
Well in fact, Rockstar hasn't really given us any information on its latest open-world crime epic, almost everything we know has been painstakingly gleaned from the gameplay video shown in the initial reveal, spread through hearsay or is the predictions of those magic ball carrying analysts.
Even the release date is still a mystery. Take-Two's second quarter financial earnings report included an update on future product launch dates and provided a 'fiscal year 2013' window for many of the publisher's latest games. However, GTA5 carried a"TBA" release date and still hasn't been confirmed.

A National Alliance Capital Markets analyst has said: "We believe Rockstar Games is modelling a four to six month marketing window for their upcoming GTA V release, suggesting a summer '12 launch period."

It's difficult to admit but there were a fair few people in this office that were a little disappointed by GTA5 reveal; in part because of the not-so-surprising setting, but also because it was really hard to ignore the fact that it looked a little dated.

Perhaps 'dated' is the wrong word, but nothing about it stuck out as particularly interesting. Most of our excitement about the game was around it's very existence. A lot of that was due to our expectations, which admittedly were difficult to manage considering how absolutely jaw-dropping the GTA4 reveal was, but also because it's coming out on consoles that we've had for years now.
We're sure it's going to be great, and if San Andreas taught us anything it's that even at the tail end of a console cycle Rockstar can still put out fantastic games. But we can't help but feel like it just won't make the impact GTA4 did.
With that in mind we're throwing out one of oversized idea beach balls for you fine readers to bounce around. Here's what we're thinking: What if Rockstar holds off on GTA5 and instead releases it for the next generation of consoles?
Why? Well let's get the obvious reasons out of the way first: it would look better, be a much more ambitious game, perhaps feature interesting new mechanics based each consoles unique aspects, and most of all it would be a pretty fantastic way to kick off a new generation.

Will it happen? Almost certainly not, Rockstar isn't stupid enough to ignore the massive install based the PS3, 360 and PC.
But maybe it could pull a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and come out for both generations, we're betting both Sony and Microsoft have shown Rockstar what they've got planned so they could put something together, right? Maybe we're just being crazy,

Let us know what you think...

GTA5 GANG

Hey guys! We are setting up a clan when gta5 comes out and anyone can join. Are you interested????????

Gta 5

Grand Theft Auto V

Do you think this trailer shows hidden secrets to the game itself???

Well, this is a analysis on the sceenshots i have seen, but its not a boring one, its one outside the box.
HOPE YOU ENJOY.

Well, firstly look at the right of the house near the fence, it looks like an old rusty bike, but, this might indicate that you might be allowed to ride bikes and BMXs. That brings me on to another point (that is also on the right of the house) that there is a window open. That may be giving us a hint. That we may be able to rob houses, this leads back to San Andreas where you could steal TVs and other stuff like that, to sell it a bit later in the game for money. Then i get thrown to the truck on the left, it says "POSTAL" on it which means you may be able to send some sort of letters in a misson. Or it could be a side mission to deliver post, alot like the taxi, ambulance and police side missons in San Andreas. The car in the picture is also from the GTA IV series.

Ah, Tramp Vally. This picture says that wealth is an important part of the game, thats the most apparent thing to me. But, this might be a bit far-feched, but you might be able to spray paint, look at all the walls around them. There will probably not be this feature in the game as it seems complicated.
My attention is drawn to the car nearest the men, if you look closely you can see there is a person sitting back of the car, this means two things. You might be able to kidnap people and that might lead to kidnpping missons. The other is on mulitplayer you might be able to get in the back and shoot other people more freely.

This third picture shows that the houses you are able to buy might be very luxurious. As you can see they have there own gym and they are doing yoga. I also see a small telescope which means you might be able to see through it and spy or look out for people in missons. The door is open, (just behined the pillar) this goes back to my previous statement in the HOUSE FOR SALE one where you might be able to rob houses. This supports my case. On the bottom floor as you might see it is wrecked, this means you could be able to cause much more havoc throughout the game than in past GTA games.

This picture says alot about the beaches of Vinewood. In Grand Theft Auto 5 you might be able to buy beach-houses that will be very nice if you like being on the beach. The couple walking to the sea might show that you can get girlfreinds again, like in GTA IV. You can also see a dog which could mean you use one in a misson and keep it in your safehouse. Lastly, i can see a surfboard that you could use for a side mission.

If you have played on GTA IV Balled Of Gay Tony you would know that one of the main things to do in your spare time was to go to a club like "Hurculies" or "Masionet 9". The name of this club is in this picture, but you can only see "ENE" for certain. Also in TBOGT you can manage the club and be the bouncer.
This might lead to bigger and better things in GTA 5. The bike is from GTA IV, its called a "Vader" and is quite quick in it. We hope there is a much wider bike span in GTA 5 as bikes are very fun to ride.

Hope you enjoyed the analysis!

GTA V development is coming along well, says 2K

GTA V development is coming along well, says 2K

Still no release date for Grand Theft Auto V.

According to Take Two Interactive's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, Grand Theft Auto V from Rockstar games is "making great progress". Regarding GTA V, the CEO made comments to investors and analysts in a recent financial call that focused little on the upcoming game. Take Two has yet to reveal a launch window for the game, but analysts are still calling for a late 2012 or early 2013 release for the latest installment from Rockstar.

With Max Payne 3 being freshly delayed, analysts became split on the probability of a 2012 or 2013 release date for the game. Of course, with the GTA series being one of their major sellers, Take Two has once again reassured fans that Rockstar will continue to live up to the high bar that they've set for themselves over the years.

After revealing Grand Theft Auto V to the world just a few months ago, both Rockstar and Take Two have been quiet about the game and offer little guidance on when to expect new intel like the release date, the map and others. Recent rumors suggested that February may be the time for some answers on the game, but were neither confirmed or denied in the recent conference call.

Attention drawn to GTA 5 soundtrack

While graphics and gameplay are an important part of any game you’ll also find the music is just as important to some gamers, and this is especially true for the Grand Theft Auto 5 release, which has had a few hints dropped towards the end of last month.
You might have seen EMI highlight  its attentions for music in GTA 5, and when the release date comes they hope the game gives them an opportunity to showcase music gamers might never see otherwise. EMI believe GTA 5 offers them a “unique opportunity” and also one that could “deliver value” to the creators of music.
Attention drawn to GTA 5 soundtrack
What does the gamer want for GTA 5′s soundtrack? We have a few artists in mind when it comes to EMI’s roster, which include David Bowie, James Brown and the Beasty Boys although everyone’s music tastes are different. In our opinion nearly all Grand Theft Auto games have delivered when it comes the soundtrack, and this is one of the elements most gamers don’t worry about for GTA 5.
Some people feel San Andreas did a good job with the GTA soundtrack, but Vice City did it better and showed you how GTA music puts you in the time and place so well, would you agree? The featured GTA 5 trailer song, you can see this again in the second video below, is the only song that is confirmed for the upcoming game (at this time) and was created by The Small Faces.
The first video below this article looks at what we’ve learned about the next GTA game so far, and combined with speculation it takes a look at what could be the biggest game of 2012, which obviously depends on the release date for GTA 5. Take a look at the video and let us know if you agree with the creator’s thoughts.
What did you think about the song in the trailer, title track for Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake, and do you have a wishlist when it comes to music for GTA 5? It shouldn’t be long before we get some more official news, especially considering Rockstar recently explained  that we should see more updates in February.
Another option for GTA 5 music – some fans want a more customizable way to enjoy music in the game, and this includes the main characters having the ability to play music through a Walkman or iPod, which means they could listen to music on foot. What ideas do you have for music in GTA 5 and do you have any other ways you’d like the upcoming game to be customizable?

Grand Theft Auto 5: Is it Time for a Heroine?

There are gamers who have taken to some female characters from previous instalments of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. They believe that these females had been great in their roles but that no female has been given the opportunity to become protagonist, at least not yet. They are hoping that GTA 5 will be the first time for a female to take the lead.

But will there be a difference if a female takes the lead or not? We don’t think there will be a difference but there are those who do. There are actually folks who envision the male as head gangster and the female a mere accessory to the crime. Who do you think are the best female game characters? Well, there are a bunch that we can mention such as The Longest Journey’s April Ryan, Beyond Good and Evil’s Jade, Heavenly Sword’s Nariko, Primal’s Jennifer Tate and WET’s Rubi. Will a smattering of great females in video games be enough reason we should expect a female to reign supreme in GTA 5? But why should it be important to have a female in the lead? Why can’t we customize our character’s gender instead? Some gamers feel that customization could ruin the story.
A female character finally making it to protagonist status is just one of the issues that have circulated around GTA 5. Lately, one of the more dominant issues is whether the game should take on the MotionScan technology used in L.A. Noire. For now, many of the mutterings coming out are nothing more than rumor.

Rockstar Games has always given some ideas about what the GTA 5 characters would be like through a Q & A. They explained that the different instalments have been set in various periods in time. The last installment could well be the only one to be made ina period that can still be included in GTA 5.

Should Xbox 720 and PS4 ditch discs?

Are you ready to go entirely digital?

If recent Xbox 720 rumors are to be believed Microsoft's next console will support Blu-ray and finally catch up to its PlayStation counterpart.
Speculation has suggested that it also may not support the use of pre-owned games. We've think the ramifications of discarding used games would be pretty serious for the industry and deadly for a console pursuing that path if a rival decides against it. However, the trend towards digital distribution on the other hand might help in the long term.
Swedish developer Paradox Interactive's boss Fredrik Wester believes the next generation will be the last one before all-digital methods take over, and said he'll be 'surprised if we see another generation after that'.
Wester, like many forward-thinking minds, predicts the ongoing decline of boxed products and the rise of what he calls 'open' platforms like phones and PCs. This doesn't come as much of a surprise considering his company saw a record 97% of revenue from digital means in 2011.
It's a sentiment echoed by Obsidian man Chris Avellone, albeit in much stronger terms. "I hope digital distribution stabs the used game market in the heart," he remarked, explaining that it was so much easier to develop for a digital-only release; excuses for a buggy New Vegas release perhaps?
It would certainly alleviate the argument about used games being ditched somewhat, with the costs of boxing a game being cut hopefully leading to cheaper prices. However, long-established games retailers like HMV and GAME will suffer no end, and that's before you factor in the old fashioned people that just like having that game stacked on the shelf for access whenever.
Amidst claims in November of GTA V being exclusively digital, industry analyst Michael Pachter said there was 'ZERO probability', as "Rockstar in business to sell a lot of copies, and won't do anything that compromises that goal."
The big money is still clearly made in physical copies, Pachter believes. Besides, how many games have you seen developed with XBLA or PSN specifically in mind that offer the scope of GTA or Skyrim? It could be a death knell for the grand gaming experience if you have to download for a day to access it.
The question for you guys is, do you think the new generation of consoles should focus solely on digital downloads and ditch costly Blu-rays and other disc media?
Give us your opinions on digital distribution, and next-gen consoles in general in the comments below.

Astonished by Resident Evil 6 brigade

Most of us know Skyrim was a long time in the making (5 years and 8 months to be exact) and in that time must have taken a great number of developers to bring the game from the drawing board to its final release. The end result is a superb game; apart from a few flaws here and there, which are due to be resolved in an upcoming patch. One would presume this would be the biggest game in terms of development, but this may not be the case, as recent news suggests the Resident Evil 6 team will hit over 600.
You read correctly, it’s not a typo and from the figure 150 developers are in Japan. A recent article reports this will be the largest game in terms of production for Capcom – let’s hope they do not waste this opportunity. By the time the new version of the series gets released Resident Evil 5 will be 3 years and 8 months old, so a lot has changed in that time in terms of technology and gamer needs. Sales figures for the previous version hit 5.6 million, as such is the best selling of the series, which means RE6 has some big shoes to fill.

There is no guarantee the new game will do better than RE5, but some recent insight into Resident Evil 6 does point to significant improvements. However, we do like the new story, as it makes the game much bigger in the sense you are not trapped in one specific area, as you now get to travel to other countries around the world. It’s no secret the zombies will be back, but we do like the idea of a new creature named Javo being introduced.
While those developer team numbers are big when compared to the 450 it took to create Assassin’s Creed 2, another article suggests the game is left trailing when you look at the number it took to develop GTA IV, around 1,000 – wonder what the figure is for GTA V?
600 is still a big number and no doubt is due to there being some key new features in Resident Evil 6, such as online-co-op for up to six players, as well as up to eight for online multiplayer. There is certainly a huge potential for these new features, and should only help to aid in sales, as DLC should play a bigger role this time round.
Capcom has not confirmed any new features just yet, and what we assume could be part of RE6 could be a mistake but it’s nice to think there is some truth to them. Below you will see the official trailer for Resident Evil 6, and in the second an analysis.

What expectations do you have on the new features of Resident Evil 6? Do you believe Capcom should go back to its roots with the new version or has gaming changed so much that it would not work anymore?

Female figures and Grand Theft Auto V

Some gamers feel certain female characters were amazing in previous games and they’d like to see these characters return in future games, although there are people that point out certain games were never given the chance to feature a female as the protagonist, and some fans want GTA 5 to change this.
Not everyone feels the same about a female lead in gaming, but should it really make a difference? In our opinion the gender of the character doesn’t enter our mind when playing games, in most cases, but some gamers feel gender has everything to do with the game especially when it’s as lawless and violent as GTA 5 is likely to be. It does amaze us that in these modern times some people feel a male gangster really matters in games, and collaboration with a female taking a backseat is the most some people want.

Name some of the best female characters in games – this very topic has been touched on in this article , which looks at a number of females that need to make a return, in their opinion. These include Nariko from Heavenly Sword, Jade from Beyond Good and Evil, Jennifer Tate from Primal, Rubi from WET, and April Ryan from The Longest Journey. Each of these choices has been given a little explanation, which can be seen in the above article.
Should we see female dominance in Grand Theft Auto 5? For us the gender doesn’t make a lot of difference, although the answer would be to offer a customizable character that could include a number of choices with different genders. Some people feel this offers disadvantages in GTA 5 and would ruin the story, do you agree?
Some details or solid rumors about GTA 5 please – since the official trailer was launched we’ve seen little in the way of official details from Rockstar, although some solid details and insight have come from third parties this month. EMI Music pointed out via this article  that they’d like work with Rockstar on Grand Theft Auto 5 thanks to the “unique opportunity” it offers them. Some fans want GTA 5 to look like L.A. Noire and play like Grand Theft Auto, which could be possible if an interview with Brendan McNamara is anything to go by.
Insight was offered by Rockstar into the characters likely in GTA 5 thanks to a Q&A, which explained the GTA games are set in different eras with the last game being the only possible era to be included in the next GTA game. You can read more about this inan earlier article.
If Grand Theft Auto V featured a female protagonist, would it make a difference to you? We’ve seen a number of articles highlighting the problem with a female gangster and one of the most insightful can be found here , which concludes that it’s definitely an option if done right.

Grand Theft Auto 5: Title’s Characters May Be Inherited from Previous Installment

We all know that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been surrounded by all sorts of rumors. There has been a lot of speculation as to the characters that will be part of its universe. Now, there is some talk that some of the characters joining GTA 5 will actually be inherited from the franchise’s previous title, GTA 4.

However, there could be a problem with this. Even though only two or three will be joining GTA 5, the concept may not work because the two titles are each working from different universes. This, of course, is an idea that has been put forward. Taking a GTA 4 character and incorporating him or her in GTA 5 will take a lot of story manipulation. So, it is impossible – or next to it, anyway – that a GTA 5 trailer could have featured CJ.

With that in mind, we can turn to the possibility that Liberty Characters will be the ones making the crossover to the newest franchise title. If this were the case, we may have a lot of fun thinking about which character will make it to Rockstar’s newest. The idea has been considered because some Liberty City characters have made it to GTA 4 and some may just make it to GTA 5. The only problem with this right now is that many of these characters are now dead. There are still some characters that could make it, such as Niko Bellic and Jonathan “Johnny” Klebitz. Klebitz may have run off with Bellic’s money but he is still possibility.

We should also consider the fact that both GTA 4 and GTA 5 are high def. So, this could at least eliminate some possible characters. Jerry Kapowitz may return, for example. Some gamers may think the guessing game a pointless exercise because returning characters may take on different roles and importance. But the exercise can still prove to be fun and take away some of the impatience of waiting.
